Courses & Qualifications

We deliver CPCAB and BACP approved courses at Intermediate and Diploma levels. Our courses are designed to provide intensive learning in small group formats that support a manageable work-life balance in a calm environment. We teach an Integrative model of counselling, which encompasses the three strands of Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. All courses offer the same safe and respectful environment in which to develop the skills to self care and counsel others.

The courses are designed to accommodate the different needs of learners so the Level 2 will provide you with a thorough understanding of what counselling is all about, the unique skills needed to do this work and can enhance your current work and home life. This is the foundation of all our work and a vital part of training.

If you are wishing to pursue a career as a counsellor, these courses offer a progression route. This means that each qualification must be successfully completed before moving onto the next course.

To start a journey with us at L3 or L4, you must already hold qualifications achieved from another Awarding Body. This must be equivalent in content and Guided Learning Hours (GLH) to our CPCAB courses. Details of CPCAB GLH and content can be found on the CPCAB website.

Following the L2, you may wish to continue training and explore further with the Level 3 which concentrates on combining the previously learned L2 counselling skills with a deeper understanding of self and investigation of the theory that underpins all our counselling work.

Most learners who continue with the progression route to our BACP Approved Diploma level are wishing to pursue a career as a qualified counsellor. The L4 qualification is underpinned by the BACP Approval and means that you are then able to work as a counsellor within an agency framework and qualify as a registered member of the BACP after taking the BACP CoP test with us at the end of the L4, year 2. The L4 course is designed to train you to a very high standard of professionalism and ethics - it is then possible to progress to independent private practice after a period of experience and/or further training.

We are dedicated to providing the best counselling qualifications. By reviewing the latest research into effective counselling, we guarantee that our qualifications are up-to-date and relevant.

We are currently offering a range of levels 2, 3, and 4 courses.
